The Rei’s Minimap mod adds a minimap to minecraft! With this minimap you can easily find caves, mobs, and set way-points! This mod is made by ReiFNSK, all credit to modder. Please visit the original mod thread here for more info.
Installer Instructions:
Before installing any mods to minecraft make sure to close minecraft.
Download one of the installers below (no difference they are same, just packed differently) Once downloaded, double click the installer and click “Install Mod”. When the installer is done it will display a message that the mod is installed. Then just close installer and start your minecraft. The mod has been Installed, you don’t have to do anything else.
If you are using windows 7 and get a message after using the installer that says “This program might not have installed correctly” this is nothing you can disable this message by using this file here.
If you get an error when using the exe version of the installer download the zip version below, extract the folder from the downloaded zip to desktop and run the installer from the extracted folder. Don’t remove it from the folder. You can also try running the installer as administrator if you are on windows 7.

Mod Version being installed: v3.2_05 for Minecraft 1.4.2
Mod Prerequisite: FML (Forge ModLoader)
This mod uses FML (Forge Mod Loader) Prerequisite is only installed if not present. If you have ModLoader only mods installed then this will not be compatible. If you are not sure then install this mod on clean minecraft and don’t forget to clear mods folder. Any other install is not guaranteed.

Whenever I install this mod it crashes my minecraft and I don’t know how to fix it?!?
Do this: Using any installer click on options then click minecraft folder, when the folder opens delete the following folders: mods, config, bin, lib, coremods. Then run minecraft, log in and load a world when done exit minecraft and install any mod and it will work.

try resetting the installer, click options then click reset installer then re-install..

ALWAYS SAYS FATAL ERROR EVEN WHEN I CLEAR MODS
clear config, clear coremods folder, clear resources folder and delete the lib folder then force update and install any fml mod and it should work.
On the installer click on options then click reset installer then click on options click minecraft folder when it opens delete the bin folder clear the mods and config folders then run minecraft log in and load a world then exit minecraft and install the mod should work. Make sure minecraft is closed when installing and never run two installers at once..If that does not work give me your forge error log to look at.

I installed using the installer and when I load any of my worlds the minimap doesn’t even show up. I even tried to create a new world and it still doesn’t show up… help?
