The Gun Mod allows users to create their own content with an easy to use and intuitive GUI. It implements a system for modular weapon design and ballistic physics. This mod is pre-included with 15 weapons, guns, launchers and pistols. You can get many different varieties of gun packs on the forums for this mod so checkout the original post for all info.

Installer Instructions:
Before installing any mods to minecraft make sure to close minecraft.
Download one of the installers below (no difference they are same, just packed differently) Once downloaded, double click the installer and click “Install Mod”. When the installer is done it will display a message that the mod is installed. Then just close installer and start your minecraft. The mod has been Installed, you don’t have to do anything else.
If you are using windows 7 and get a message after using the installer that says “This program might not have installed correctly” this is nothing you can disable this message by using this file here.
If you get an error when using the exe version of the installer download the zip version below, extract the folder from the downloaded zip to desktop and run the installer from the extracted folder. Don’t remove it from the folder. You can also try running the installer as administrator if you are on windows 7.

It doesn’t take “All FREAKING night” to download Java. I didn’t have Java 7 but I downloaded AND installed it in less than 10 minutes.
You don’t have to reinstall MC for Java to work, or the mod. Both work fine for me and I got it yesterday. Didn’t reboot, un- or re-install…anything.
You don’t have to restart the PC.
Fix your Minecraft. The mod works fine on its own. The problem YOU have, sir, is most likely having too any mods. YOU are the problem. NOT the mod.

Do a clean minecraft install: Using any installer click on options then click minecraft folder, when the folder opens delete the following folders: mods, config, bin, lib, coremods. Then run minecraft, log in and load a world when done exit minecraft and install any mod and it will work.
It says that the Java is 1.6 you need the latest version 1.7+ in order for it to work..
